Number Ten
thingiverse
Hi everyone, nice to meet you all! This is my first post here, so I'll try to get everything right and post this in the correct area for getting help. Firstly, I'm having trouble printing a house letterbox number that I downloaded from Thingiverse. No matter what changes I make in Cura, it just keeps getting worse. The original item is 80mm in size, but I only need half of it, so I adjusted it to 50% in Cura. However, after three days of tinkering and printing six sets of numbers independently, I'm still not getting a decent-looking number. I'm getting a stringy mess all over the place, and I don't know what to do anymore. My machine has been giving me trouble with quality control since I got it two weeks ago. It seems to do its own thing when it comes to printing items, and this simple task is becoming a major headache. Can someone please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? I haven't changed many default settings in Cura apart from shrinking the item to 50% and increasing the infill from 20% to 100%, as well as raising the temperature from 190 to 210 degrees. But it hasn't made a difference. I would really appreciate any suggestions or advice on what's going wrong here. Thanks in advance!
