thingiverse
A classroom tool featuring mathematical integers is a number line, which illustrates positive and negative numbers' relationship. An informative YouTube video on this topic can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBDkDa3kYPk. To create this tool using a 3D printer, set the Makerware to medium with PLA filament. Print the number line at 400 microns tall and pause to change black to white filament for numbers and borders. The indicator dial can also be printed with the same settings.
