Number Bonds, 3D Printable Rods to Learn Math Concepts

Create hands-on mathematical experiences for young learners with these colorful and tactile 3D printable rods. Each rod represents a single integer (1-10) composed of a fixed number of blocks representing its value. Learners can manipulate the rods to compare values and to visualize operations like addition and subtraction. All rods are beveled (no sharp corners!) and have raised numbers for a multi-sensory experience. Print multiple sets (more addends!) to create larger sums, or to demonstrate repeated addition (multiplication) or even division as your learner grows. Besides paving the way to developing essential skills with mathematical operations, these rods can reinforce other concepts, including: • Number recognition • Number bonds and families • Less than or greater than comparisons Lastly, we recommend printing alternating colors for even and odd rods to help distinguish them.
