Zero Clearance Insert for Proxxon FKS/E The Proxxon FKS / E circular saw has a large gap to both sides of the saw blade. The right-hand gap can be adjusted, but you cannot narrow the left-hand gap. You need a zero clearance insert if you want to produce thin strips. If these strips are too thin for the gap between the saw blade and table top, they may fall into the saw completely. In addition to preventing this problem, a zero clearance insert also reduces tears during sawing and throws less grinding dust into the environment. The zero clearance insert was printed from PETG. You can also mill it out of 2 mm thick aluminum according to the DXF file if you prefer.
