thingiverse
I crafted this Ukulele after creating a few other Ukes on Thingiverse that were good but still had room for enhancement.\nEnhancements include:\nNo buzzing\nNo sharp edges\nStays in tune even on higher frets.\nThe two parts fit together perfectly for me, no need for adhesive but you may require it depending on your printer/slicer settings.\nYou will need 4 Uke machine heads just search B00EQ29KNG and you'll find the ones I used. I purchased some machine heads that were too long so I designed a spacer block to add to the back, ensuring everything works properly.\nAdditionally, you will need 4 Ukulele strings.\nA print area of at least 10.5" tall is required.\nIf you want to print this on a smaller printer, please share your printer size and I'll attempt to split it for gluing.\nI've improved every aspect I could think of, but if you see an area that could be enhanced, let me know!\nAll feedback is welcomed. \n02/21/2015 - Added new files with neck and body cut in half for a smaller height requirement (now 5.35" or 136 mm tall), reducing the print area needed.\nI haven't tested gluing these halves together, so please let me know how it works for you. \n02/28/2015 - Included a spacer that can be added to the back of the head if your tuners are too long.\n\n \n \n Guidelines\nDesigned in SolidWorks\nSliced with KISSlicer\nPrinted in PLA, 2mm skin thickness, 20% infill at 220°C.
