I crafted this Ukulele after experimenting with other Ukes on Thingiverse that were great but still had room for refinement. Enhancements include: No buzzing Smooth corners Stays in tune even at higher frets. Two halves assemble perfectly Machines fit flawlessly. The two parts join together snugly, eliminating the need for glue, although you may require it depending on your printer/slicer setup. You'll need four Uke machine heads; searching for B00EQ29KNG will reveal the ones I used. Be aware that some machine heads are too long, so I created a spacer block to ensure compatibility. Additionally, you'll need four Ukulele strings. A print area of at least 10.5" in height is necessary. If you want to print this on a smaller printer, please share your device's specifications and I can attempt to split the design for easier assembly. I've addressed every potential issue I could think of, but if you identify an area for improvement, please don't hesitate to let me know – all feedback is welcome. 02/21/2015 - I uploaded new files with the neck and body cut in half to accommodate smaller print spaces (now 5.35" or 136 mm tall). Please share your experience with gluing these halves together. 02/28/2015 - A spacer was added for users with tuners that are too long. Designed using SolidWorks Sliced with KISSlicer Printed in PLA with a 2mm skin thickness, 20% infill, and 220° temperature.
