I moved to a new house and decided to go for a smart lock. I bought the Danalock V3 with a lock cylinder (Keso 8000 OM) specifically designed for this smart lock with a little bolt on the inside which fits into the danalock. After Danalock has been somewhat discontinued and acted up for me lately by not fully closing or not reacting on the first attempts after about 2.5 years, time had come to look for a new smart lock. I decided to buy the Nuki Smart Lock which had pretty good reviews but unfortunately did not fit the key cylinder designed for the danalock (you would use a normal cylinder to have Nuki turn a key placed in the cylinder from the inside). I could have bought a new cylinder but decided to try a diy adapter first as I did not find any adapters or modifications for the cylinder mentioned anywhere. This adapter works great for me so far. It fits perfectly (not too tight but certainly not a bit loose) and Nuki does not seem to have any problems turning the adapter and the bolt.
