Spring and plunger are easily removed from the DRITZ 1-1/4" cord stop by using pliers to squeeze the outer casing on both solid sides while pulling the plunger out. This should come right out, but be careful not to lose the spring. The fine detail on the cap model may not show up clearly with a 0.5mm nozzle printer, yet it still provides some distinct lines for painting. I have not tried printing it in resin, and I doubt that it would be strong enough for practical use. A 0.35mm printer might produce better results.
