Nuclear Football

Here are some updates on my 3D printing model: I've upgraded the design to a more visually appealing version. The key changes include: The outer components (high-velocity explosives) now feature integrated detonators. These outer pieces have strategically designed voids that accommodate low-velocity explosives. An inner shell, also known as a tamper, has been added for added protection. At the core of this design is fissile material that provides maximum energy output. Each hemisphere comes in a set of two, which you can easily glue together to form a complete unit. As a special request from a 3D Printing Facebook group member, I've included obj files as an added bonus. One of my Facebook group members recently asked me to create this custom model. They were looking for something that resembled a nuclear explosion and had a lot of fun working on it. This design deviates slightly from other tutorials found on YouTube. Instead of using conventional techniques, I opted to patch missing pentagons and loft the shape to a precise point. This approach saves time and yields more accurate results. Although this project is still ongoing, its future is uncertain at this time. I'm currently lacking detonators and geometry for explosive lensing patterns, which are crucial components of this design.
