NR200 - SFX-L raised PSU mount - redux
thingiverse
I bought an AMD Radeon 6950 which barely fits in the NR200. With the stock PSU bracket, the cables physically push the already heavy GPU down, and no matter how hard you fold and press the cables against the PSU, you will never see daylight between the cables on an SFX-L PSU and that video card, or a similarly long one. I felt this was dangerous and possibly expensive, so I found a solution on Thingiverse, as one does. The previous version from which I remixed had a rear composed of a flat piece of plastic with hex holes for airflow. If I didn't know how to use FreeCAD I would have just printed it as is, as the design is perfectly fine. But since editing was a possibility, I don't think it's necessary to have all that material back there at all. It restricts airflow and could be potentially noisy. So I removed it. Bonus, this remix prints massively faster and saves material.
