A servo platform designed to house my servo in the NQD Jet Boat, a popular choice among enthusiasts. This platform is specifically engineered to mount a 9g servo directly onto the jet drive housing of the boat. Measuring 23mm tall by 25mm wide, it sits at a precise 35-degree angle. Print Settings Printer: Micro M3D Rafts: It doesn't matter which type of raft you use. Supports: No supports are needed for this print. Resolution: A resolution of either 350 or 250 microns works well. Infill: Low infill settings produce the best results. Notes: There are three different versions of the model to choose from. Version 1.2 is the one that has been printed and installed, as shown in the accompanying pictures. Version 1.3 offers two variations: one optimized for the 0.35mm nozzle of the Micro M3D printer, and another designed for the more common 0.4mm nozzle size. When printing with the angle facing down, supports are not necessary. Design Process This platform was created using Solidworks 2014 and a digital caliper to ensure precise measurements.
