NPT 0.25" .25 1/4" 1/4 Nut Nuts with Project .25 and .5 tall
thingiverse
Three different nuts with .stl files. Only one has the half torus ridge and bumps. Couldn't find any 1/4" NPT nuts so made some. A 7/8 wrench fits the nut. Just print it as you like. They are small nuts so printing it with a quality setting might be a good idea. I've included the FreeCAD project for the .45" tall nut so you can mess with things and make your own if you want. All of the building blocks are in there. I imported the initial 3-D IGES model (1/4" NPT pipe) from McMaster-Carr, made it solid, filled it in, subtracted from a nut I made, added dimple, chamfered edges... The indented half spheres (dimples) designate the narrow end of the NPT thread. You'll see that on two of the nuts. The end with the ridge and the 6 bumps is the wide end of the NPT thread on one nut. I have the half torus/ridge to see if it'll help make a water tight seal up against the inside of a Tupperware container. I put the 6 bumps thinking they'll sink into the plastic a little like the ridge but the bumps will help keep the nut from spinning lose. I should patent the idea :P
