I'm just experimenting with designing my own coin, and the first thing that came to mind is the symbol for the NPN transistor, which marked the beginning of my deeper understanding of electronics. The font I used is Continuum Medium, available on dafont.com. This may not qualify as a traditional maker's coin, but it was still a fun distraction from work.
