UPDATE: A brand-new design has just been released, rendering the old one obsolete due to its lack of strength. The new version boasts enhanced durability thanks to 1mm wire brackets that significantly increase its overall robustness. Check out the latest creation at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2312770 This simple wheel is specifically designed for a 6mm socket to safely unscrew the nozzle of an average 3D printer. The socket remains securely locked in place by means of an M3 screw, which also serves as a clever mechanism to prevent the nozzle from dropping all the way down. Two versions are available - one compatible with 16mm screws and another designed for 20mm screws. The latter is intended to be even more solid and reliable. Recommended Print Settings: Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Notes: A brim may prove helpful during the printing process. I've also included a small ring for support within the socket to securely hold the hex nut in place; feel free to remove this with a drill after printing is complete. It's crucial to use ABS due to the high temperatures the socket will reach during operation.
