Nozzle tray insert, hexagon and round. For plastic box, with legend. Can fit 77 Mk8 nozzles with 6mm thread. Tray insert is 102.5mm x 69.5mm. ## Why Had a box around and needed a way to sort nozzles neatly. ## Design Details Designed for the box of 'Amazon product B07MNR3VM8. The Box is about 107mm x 73mm x 12mm (L x W x H). I used other inserts on Thingiverse as inspiration. Had this box lying around. Box has round edges on the bottom. The inlay has these round edges too. Might fit in other boxes, too. <i>Inlay Round</i> is 5mm high with 6.5mm hole diameter (no thread). <i>Inlay Hex</i> is 8mm high with 6.5mm hexagon shape. Both have 77 holes (11 wide, 7 high). Since the thread is 6mm on Mk8 nozzles I recommend the round shape inlay. The picture of the full inlay has 7mm hex nozzles and 8mm hex nozzles, and the original 6mm nozzle. 6mm round is the most flexible. Nozzles are difficult to grab if box is full. I recommend using tweezers in this case. Combination with diameter indicators of [Thing 4831594](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4831594) (hex) or [Thing 4918569](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4918569) (round) might be possible but not tested. Also has inlays with no holes (thickness 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 5mm) that can be combined to adjust the height of the holed inlay. These prevents nozzles from falling out when box is tipped. Make sure that the box's lid can't be pushed down very much. This will make sure that the nozzle don't fall out of their holes if box is tipped. To test this, you can resize a cube to 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm, and then test a few combinations by laying them on top if the nozzles when they are inside the insert. After that, print the needed no-hole inserts and put them underneath ## Print Instructions Print upside down, laying flat on surface (with round edges on top). Adjust infill density according to experience. Print out <i>legend</i> (hex and round) with 2D printer (uses A5 paper), if needed. ## Assembly Instructions Insert into box after printing, round edges to bottom. Cut out legend and fix into lid of box. ### Materials Needed none (All product links are MakerBot affiliate links. I do not get <i>anything</i> from these links.)
