This torque wrench is specifically designed for use when changing nozzles on "The Olsson Block": http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/7689-custom-heater-block-to-fit-e3d-nozzle-on-ultimake... When you reach the correct tightening torque, the tool will start slipping (making clicking sounds), preventing damage from over-tightening or leaks caused by too loose a nozzle. When unscrewing the nozzle, however, torque is unlimited. The tool also prevents accidental tightening of the nozzle if you forget which way to turn for unscrewing it. To ensure optimal performance, use 100% infill and verify that there's no under-extrusion, or the tool will be too weak. For PLA, I recommend leaving fans on auto and printing both pieces at once using the "print all at once" option in Cura, giving the plastic sufficient time to cool. Printing individual pieces with PLA normally works, but may result in less smooth overhangs. For ABS, print one piece at a time with fans on auto; if you print them together, leave fans off as excessive cooling can lead to insufficient layer bonding and tool breakage. When printed in PLA with the square socket-holder, be quick when changing hot nozzles or the tool will start melting; if strength/temperature issues arise, consider printing the internal hex hole version instead (thank you UltiArjan for coming up with this idea). The torque wrench has been test-printed in PLA, ABS, and XT. Torque values vary from about 0.25 Nm to 0.5 Nm depending on the type of plastic; ABS and XT are softer while PLA is harder. You can try using this tool on other printer nozzles or for different purposes, but use it at your own risk! Note for resellers: This design is shared under the Non-Commercial Share Alike license; however, if you're an official dealer of "The Olsson Block" and your customer doesn't want to print the torque wrench, I won't mind if you charge a reasonable amount for printing the tool for them.
