Nozzle to measure air flows

Nozzle to measure air flows

prusaprinters

New nozzle to measure ventilation air flows in grids of 600x150 mm maximum. Adapted to the testo 405i meter (Surely you can use other probes). The nozzle is divided into 5 parts that must be glued together. The layer height is 0.25mm, in general. In the con_entrada.stl piece, I have configured two zones with variable layer height (reduced to 0,15 mm) to improve the geometry. In the “central.stl” and "lateral.stl" pieces I have added an auxiliary geometry to avoid the possible warping. Must be cut. A plastic cable gland (thread size PG11) can be attached to fix the probe. A self-adhesive rubber joint (EVA, Neoprene or similar) can be placed to adjust the nozzle to the grid. The maximum flow that can be measured (30 m/s) is limited by the probe (testo 405i in this case). This probe also measures air temperature in the range of -20 to +60ºCThe nozzle is designed to be used in the ventilation of homes, with relatively low flow rates.NOTE: The measurement result should be considered as a reference. I have not yet performed any verification of this nozzle for different grates in the laboratory.
