Nozzle Storage Chest - Multimaterial

This model was the winning entry in E3D Toolchanger STL Design Competition April 2019 https://twitter.com/E3DOnline/status/1119308448565473281. I have designed a treasure chest for 3D printing enthusiasts to store their valuable possessions, namely nozzles! You can hold up to 15 nozzles in the chest. Nozzle holes match standard E3D V6 6mm threaded nozzles. The model uses four filaments and prints in place. I used three regular PLA filaments and a fourth flex PLA filament. I utilized the flex PLA in several ways: 1. Flexible hinges on the chest 2. A flexible lip around the nozzle hole for easy insertion and removal of nozzles 3. Friction fit for nozzle labels 4. A non-slip base You can also print this model with a single color of PLA if you lack multiple material capability. Note: The multi-colored print shown above is an older version, but it is quite similar to the current one, just with a few tweaks. However, the latest version has been printed in single color and confirmed to function correctly. Please excuse any under-extrusion or missed layers (4 Silver, 1 Gold, 1 Brown), as I encountered a clogged nozzle early on and am still waiting for my MMU2S upgrade. I won't attempt another long print until I'm running the 2S. Check out my other multi-material prints at cults3d.com/en/users/RobagoN/creations. https://youtu.be/l6495YXXTsw
