An angled bosses on the underside is designed to locate securely on inside or outside corners while a measurement is taken. For an inside measurement, you add 30 mm to the measurement indicated on the tape measure, outside measurements are direct read. The inner and outer corners are asymmetrical, located exactly along the edge of the tape. The tongue is firmly inserted into the slot, but is easily removed, and retains the 1 mm play necessary for accurate measurement. Tape measure I have as in the last photo. As far as I understand, this is a common model, it has a tape width of 15.15 mm. I think that if your tape measure has a tape of a different width, then you can try to print it by scaling the model in the slicer in width.
