Nozzle Extender for Ryobi 40V Cordless Leaf Blower

I recently purchased a Ryobi 40V cordless leaf blower and I'm extremely satisfied with it, but the nozzle appears to be somewhat too short, causing me to bend over uncomfortably in an attempt to reach closer to the ground while using it. I observed that a 2.5" shop-vac extension tube is almost identical in diameter to the output - if only there was a way to connect them seamlessly. Not wanting to rely on duct tape or permanently modify the blower, I designed this mating collar. Please note that there's a gradual taper from one end to the other. The larger end attaches to the blower, while the smaller end points away from the blower and securely holds the extension, which is made from a RIDGID 2.5" extension wand accessory for RIDGID wet/dry vacs. You'll need to purchase one of these from Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-2-1-2-in-Extension-Wand-Accessory-for-RIDGID-Wet-Dry-Vacs-VT2508/100050604. Cut about 6" starting from the female end and insert that through the larger end of the collar toward the smaller end. Ensure it's wedged in securely so it won't come out on its own. You may have to sand down the ridge to facilitate a smoother fit. Now you can easily install (and remove) the entire assembly onto your blower as needed. As I'm 5'10" and a 6" extension worked perfectly, adjust according to your specific needs. If you possess a larger Z axis, you could extend the design and print the whole thing as one piece, or you could design and print a second piece instead of buying the vacuum extension - but I already had one sitting in my garage and didn't want to spend so much time (and filament) printing it.
