Nozzle Cam Satsana Remix for Ender 3 v2 - 4010 & 5015 fans
thingiverse
Overview ==================== This is a modified Satsana duct that includes a mount for a Nozzle Camera. Instead of an borescope, I found there is just enough clearance to use regular Pi Camera Module! There is also room to use two 5mm LEDs (preferably bright white) for illumination. I also added ovalled mounting holes to allow height adjustment for the fan duct. I included versions compatible with a 4010 or a 5015 blower fan. Direct Drive compatible! *Note: This is only compatible with Ender3 v2 at this time* Parts List ==================== **Prints** - Satsana Duct (4010 or 5015 version) - Camera Shell (front and back) - Camera Ribbon Guide - Spacer (try the different included sizes to get the camera height correct) **Hardware** - Raspberry Pi Camera Module (v1 or 2) - 40mm hotend fan (stock fan is fine) - 4010 or 5015 blower fan - Original fan duct bolts (to mount Satsana onto the X carriage) - Original hotend fan bolts (to mount hotend fan) - 2x M3x12 bolts (for 4010 fan) - 2x M3x20 bolts (for 5015 fan) - 1x M3x6~8 bolt (for camera mount) Build Notes ==================== **The back camera shell must be printed with supports.** All other parts do not need supports. Make sure to adjust the camera focus almost all the way in. Be sure to leave enough slack in the camera ribbon between the ribbon guide and the print head to allow the head to move all the way to the right. Don't worry - even with slack, the ribbon never touches the print bed. When I first set this up, I found the LEDs to cause too much glare in the video. To solve this, I glued a small piece of tracing paper in front of the LEDs to diffuse the light. I've printed the duct in PLA and camera shell in PETG. Both have held up for months to PLA and PETG print temperatures - *I don't know how it would fair with ABS or another higher temperature material*
