A nozzle is a device shaping an enclosed chamber or pipe's outlet (or inlet) to regulate a fluid flow's direction and properties, mainly boosting velocity. It's often a tube with varying cross-sectional areas, manipulating liquid or gas flow rates, speed, direction, mass, shape, and pressure. In a nozzle, the fluid's velocity increases at the expense of its pressure energy.
