Thanks to 3D, everything old is new again. Taking a lesson from bakeries and butcher shops, now students can take a number to queue up for your help and attention. Just print out a batch of these looped numbers and string them onto a zip tie with some painters tape wrapped around the end so that they do not fall off. Now when you are overwhelmed by the number of students asking for your attention you can hand each student a number. They know that their place in the queue is secure, and you are better able to focus on each student in turn. Use batches of different colors, one for each day, each lab instructor, or whatever the situation calls for.Alternatively, use a zip tie of name tags to manage the queue. That way you don't have to call out, "Who has #17?", when ready to help the next student.InstructionsI print my queueing numbers using the Prusa tool chain. The layer height is .2mm. There's no need for a raft or supports.
