Novritsch SSP18 CO2 magazine extended base plate
thingiverse
This baseplate adds more room for the magazine to fit up to 31 rounds. I recommend changing the magazine spring to the SSP1 spring, as it's designed for 31 rounds, I've not tested whether the original spring will feed reliably. There is no mounting mechanism for the base plate other than the smaller hole on the bottom which is for an M4 grub screw (below 11mm in length) and allows you to screw the baseplate tight against the body of the magazine. Orientate the part with the bottom side against the build platform. The CO2 mounting screw is prevented from being unscrewed further than necessary, so you cannot lose it. To install, remove the original baseplate and spring holder thing (secured to the mag body by a small pin which also needs to be removed) leaving only the spring and follower, and then slide on the extended baseplate while simultaneously holding the spring up into the BB channel, out of the way of the baseplate, until the baseplate is fully seated, then the spring can be released and it will now sit at the bottom of the extended baseplate.
