Enemy Fish in the Water... Activate Defense Protocol! This is a reimagined Novelty Submarine Fishing Lure, originally conceived about 20 years ago. It remains in the testing phase, hence the "Work in Progress" label until I thoroughly validate its performance. I've incorporated a printed fin, substituting it with a lip cut from a piece of .093 Plexiglass to enhance durability. #10 Treble Hooks and #2 Split Rings are used on this design, mirroring the assembly process of my Crankbait Fishing Lure. 9-17-16 UPDATED - Following extensive testing, I found the lure to be slightly top-heavy due to the conning tower. To rectify this issue, I added a void at the bottom, allowing for the incorporation of weight to maintain an upright floatation position. A trimmed-down 4D 1 1/2" Finish Nail serves as the counterweight. Further refinement and retesting are necessary before considering this design complete.
