Enemy Fish in the Water... Engage Countermeasures! This is a recreation of a Novelty Submarine Fishing Lure I came up with approximately twenty years ago. This project remains in the testing phase, and I'm marking it as "A work in progress" until I've thoroughly tested it. I included a printed lip but utilized a lip cut from a piece of .093 Plexiglass. #10 Treble Hooks and #2 Split Rings were used on these lures. Assembly is straightforward, just like my Crankbait Fishing Lure. 09-17-16 UPDATE: After conducting tests, the lure was found to be slightly top-heavy with the conning tower, so I added a void to the bottom of the lure to allow for additional weight to be added at the bottom, enabling it to float upright. (A trimmed-down 4D 1 1/2" Finish Nail serves as the counterweight.) Further testing and reprinting are required, making this project still a work in progress. If you have any questions or experience problems with the files or fitment of the parts, please let me know, and I'll do my best to resolve them. Enjoy... and post your creations if you use these! It lets me know I'm not wasting time uploading my designs.
