A Unique Wind Spinner for the Garden: A Novel Design Requiring Minimal Components. This innovative wind spinner necessitates a short length of 6mm shaft and two 6mm diameter ball bearings with an inner diameter of 19mm and outer diameter of 19mm. The mounting boss at the bottom of the swivel is specifically designed to fit a 36mm bore fibreglass tube. The spinner operates at extremely high speeds, allowing for the incorporation of small bells or other objects inside. Two sizes of main rotor are available, as well as one smaller pointer rotor, which is showcased in the accompanying video. Ideally, the pointer rotor should be filled with lead weights set in epoxy resin to balance the main rotor as closely as possible. A clicking noise can be heard in the video, resulting from the leading edge of the main rotor catching the mounting pole due to being inadvertently glued too close to the swivel. This would not normally occur. In addition to glue, the main rotor features a 3mm hole near the top for securing it to the steel shaft using a split pin or small grub screws. Without this feature, high-speed spinning might cause plastic deformation and loosen the rotor's grip. When printing, no supports are necessary if a small layer height of 0.12mm and a wide line width of 0.8mm are used to minimize overhang issues.
