NovaBOT's simple concept involves moveable joints for two-directional movements, providing XY axis mobility. Two main parts are fixed to the central part, which has four rotation points for easy head movement in all directions. Note that the servo motors in the model and pictures may not be strong enough; assess needed force when creating your bot. The center part measures 120mm x 60mm x 60mm and uses identical type of servo motors, powered and controlled by 3 cables. The robot's arm consists of 5 3D-printed shell parts, an O-ring, 7 servo motors, 88 screws, and 14 servo box parts. It will be screwed into the ground for reproducible measurements, and a docking fixture allows use of different device platforms.
