Nova - Ballet pose

Ballet pose from the Nova series reduced to 8K poly from 105K. The 1/8th scale version has a separate base and will just fit printed, laying down diagonally on a standard Prusa-style printer. The 1/10th version includes the base. At that scale, details are small and harder to support but a good quality FDM or UV resin printer should suffice. The bottom of her feet have been extended so they plug into the base as seen in the image. Good foot contact is required for a successful print, which is why she is not en pointe like a typical ballerina. She is barefoot in the scan session but Nova has ballet experience making this pose legitimate. You can find full resolution versions of this pose along with vertex colors and texture mapping at Cults3D and CGTrader. A split version is also provided where the top and bottom half can be printed separately at an angle resulting in the best quality with support structures included. The split version can be scaled to 200% to print at 1/4 scale on a Prusa-like printer, resulting in a 20-inch tall sculpture. The full version is available for free on CG Trader for a limited time.
