Capture the chaos that unfolded today, April 15th. \nAngel's Head. Paris, circa 1210-1215. Musée de Cluny.\nOriginally part of the Coronation of Notre-Dame de Paris portal. Deposited in 1793-1794. Repurposed in the foundations of the Moreau hotel. Discovered during the construction of the French Bank for Foreign Trade, 1977. Gift from the French Bank for Foreign Trade.\nA ring of alternating rectangular and circular cabochons holds a mass of curly hair encircling a face slightly inverted egg shape, with a high forehead and smooth features. A brow arch starting at a slight angle overshadows two almond-shaped eyes, with the upper eyelid defined by an engraved line. The mouth, narrow, almost smiling, is tightly pressed between thin lips. The nose has vanished, and the lower part of the face shows several deep scars.
