Fire Alarm Technicians and those seeking to test magnetic testable smoke detectors, duct detectors, heat detectors and more now have a reliable tool at their disposal. This versatile holder is designed to securely hold two standard System Sensor magnets, which come with parts from the company, in place so that technicians can confidently position them on test locations without any confusion. No longer will they need to guess if they are aligning the magnet with the correct LED side; instead, they have magnets positioned at both possible locations, ensuring accurate testing every time. The holder's design eliminates the hassle of trying to feel for a test circle or tactile mark by scraping the side of the magnet. Testing and going is now as simple as can be! In addition to its magnetic capabilities, there is also a slot for an A135 Shark key, which allows technicians to easily test and reset duct detectors from their test switch. Moreover, a small hole is provided for a poker (made from a thick solid conductor wire) to test 2W-B devices, and so on, just like in standard single-magnet holder designs. The holder screws securely onto standard paint or extension poles, providing a tight fit that prevents the magnets from shifting during use. As the creator of this holder intended, it was designed with a very snug fit for the magnets to ensure they do not move around on the metal surface, eliminating the need for tape or risking losing the magnet altogether. Depending on how much the plastic shrinks, you may find yourself tapping in place with a mallet one day and needing to shave the walls the next; if you prefer not to hand-fit them, consider scaling up to 102%.
