Nothing Serious (humorous plaque)
thingiverse
I've had this little meme stored away for about a decade and stumbled upon it again this morning. It screamed to be transformed into a 3D printed plaque for desk or wall. Not flawless, and I might (or might not) refine it at some later point, but it looks pretty decent right now. It makes me wish I had a multiple extruder printer so I could have both red and black text on the white background as in the original meme, but for now, this will suffice. I created a .jpg file from just the line drawing of the little guy with his rear end chewed off, used an online converter to make a .dxf file out of the .jpg, and then generated a 2mm raised image of the .dxf on my 2mm background plane before adding the text & border. This turned out to be significantly less challenging than I anticipated in Fusion 360. I scaled just the X and Y dimensions in Cura to get the size I wanted prior to slicing & printing it. 2mm white background, switched filament as the raised text & background started at 2.2mm (Layer 11).
