Note 2 Dash Cam Mount
cults3d
I use my Note 2 phone to listen to music while driving, wanting to utilize its camera feature as a dash cam as well. It seemed like another ideal opportunity to create a custom mount. To avoid suction cups that could detach and keep it away from direct sunlight, I decided to hang it from the sun visor instead. Unless you drive a Ford Mondeo with a Note 2 equipped with this specific cover, you won't be able to simply print and use it as is. Nonetheless, here it is. In one of the images, you'll see a clip holding the Hanging Hook and the Shade Bracket together. This is necessary to prevent it from spinning when braking or making sharp turns. I had to offset the vertical spin axis to place it far enough away from my field of vision while still being able to hang it from the visor. Without this clip, it won't fall off but will rotate with most any turn, acceleration, or deceleration. By the way, the dash cam app that I use is called AutoGuard.
