My Grandfather created this wooden toy in the 1960s as a gift. Unfortunately, he passed away when I was just one year old, so I never had the chance to ask him about his design or where he got the inspiration from. Each wooden block bears the E. MEDDAUGH stamp, and I was able to carefully measure every detail to replicate it in 3D, including the embossed stamp. I also counted each type of block. * Half-notch blocks: **29** * Double-half-notch blocks: **22** * Wide-half-notch blocks: **18** * One-notch blocks: **45** * Two-notch blocks: **72** * Three-notch blocks: **24** * Four-notch blocks: **24** * Five-notch blocks: **24** * Six-notch blocks: **24** * Seven-notch blocks: **24** * Eight-notch blocks: **20** My Grandfather also crafted a wooden box to store the entire set. I believe he made five sets in total. The box dimensions are as follows: 3.9 inches deep at the bottom, 1 inch deep inside the top cover, with a total height of about 5 inches from bottom to top. The inside measures 4.3 x 4.3 inches. This simple design allows each block to fit neatly into another.
