Not Your Average Captain's Wheel

So I was inspired by the yacht vent competition. The idea behind this is that the handles on the wheel will twist out and become pens. Once the user returns them to the wheel it becomes a decorative piece... If I could I would make this exactly the way the render portrays it... but as it is I think I will be submitting this to Shapeways sometime soon :) Enjoy, John
