Not Lazy Susan shaft adapter
thingiverse
In my "Making Things Move" book, I created a shaft adapter specifically for the Not Lazy Susan project. This adapter works with an old Solarbotics GM9 motor and wheel, enabling you to extend the distance between the motor and wheel. However, note that newer GM9 motors have slightly different dimensions; ensure compatibility by comparing models against your own or purchased motor. To achieve a perfect slip fit, I discovered that reducing the diameter of the part sliding into the wheel by .005" and increasing the hole diameter for the motor shaft by .005" works well.
