Not Just a Belt Tensioner (Fix for Ender 3 rubbing Y belt)

cults3d

Hi everyone, if you own an Ender 3 you have probably noticed that both the Y and X axis belts are not alligned with the relative fixing points on the Y and X carriages, resulting in rubbing and premature wear of the belts. This design is my solution or the Y axis issue, including a belt tensioner. Before this upgrade I could't properly tension the belt, as higher tension meant higher friction in the belt rubbing points! All you need to build this upgrade is: -A few M3x30 screws -One M3x25 screw+ M3nut -One M5x30 screw+nut -One 8x22x7 bearing (the size of the bearing is the same used in fidget spinners or skateboards) -A longer belt (the factory one is a bit too short for this system Anything else is printable, you need to print one copy of each stl uploaded, 2 copies of each one of the two BearingSpacers, all the files can be printed support free. I will design a similar system for the X axis and, if the Y system will receive positive feedback, I will upload it here on cults in the next few weeks.
