Nostalgia pens have captured my attention with their sleek design. I've successfully printed over a dozen of them, but unfortunately, the original cap's functionality wasn't quite up to par for me. To address this issue, I decided to take matters into my own hands and designed a custom cap using Fusion360. The new cap is now 3D printed in TPU, providing a sturdy and durable solution. When printing pens with flexible materials, it's crucial to use the right material to avoid damage. I learned this the hard way when I initially printed one in PLA - it ended up snapping under minimal pressure. Since then, I've made sure to print my Nostalgia pens in a more suitable flexible material, ensuring they can withstand everyday use without compromising their performance.
