Nostalgia Pen Revival

Reviving memories of my San Francisco public school days in the 1960s, I set out to recreate the iconic pen that taught me the art of cursive handwriting. Those universally used pens stood as a rite of passage, instantly recognizable by their dark green hue and slightly longer design.
This pen requires an affordable refill, available for pennies at Target in packs of 10 for $1.39.
The pen can be printed in one or two pieces, with or without ridges to enhance grip. I discovered that a two-piece design facilitates easier refill removals, as pushing is safer than pulling on the tip, which tends to separate from the ink tube.

Heed This Warning
Never attempt to print without a raft in place!
Update 2019-01-13
I added a cap to make the pen more convenient for carrying, perfect for pockets, backpacks, or purses.
