Nosey Cup

Nosey Cup

thingiverse

This is a practical drinking aid. A speech therapist pointed out that Thingiverse lacked a cup designed specifically for individuals with dysphagia or those who cannot bend their necks while drinking, so I created one myself. This cup is intended for people struggling with swallowing difficulties and others who require assistance when consuming liquids. Print this design using two walls, 0.2mm layer height, and 100% infill to ensure a sturdy structure. To guarantee the cup's water resistance and food safety compliance, apply a non-toxic polyurethane coating that is safe for consumption. If you plan on using this cup with hot liquids, I recommend printing it with heat-resistant PLA and then annealing the material. To do so, follow these steps: preheat your oven to 194°F (90°C) and hold it at that temperature for one hour. Place the printed cup on a baking sheet and carefully transfer it into the oven. Allow it to remain in the oven for an additional hour before turning off the heat and allowing the cup to cool down to room temperature naturally.
