Preliminary Design Review -Not Tested-\nLower Nose Cone component for Smart Water bottle rocket Nose Cone Assembly.\nThe design integrates one empty, 2" acorn style, vending machine capsule on top of nose cone to create a fairing and cargo hold. \nDesigned for use on Smart Water bottles (sizes 700ml and 1L). \nSpace below capsule cargo level is reserved for simple grocery bag parachute deployment. \n\nOverview and Background\nPurpose\nThis part serves as the lower component of a water bottle rocket, nose cone assembly. \nThe part is designed to fit loosely on an empty "smart water" brand water bottle. [700ml or 1L] The bottle expands slightly when pressurized with water and compressed air. This expansion secures the nose cone assembly to the bottle for launch. When the water rocket reaches its apogee, the nose cone assembly slips off and away from the bottle, releasing a tethered stored parachute.\nThis component integrates a standard dome from an empty 2" acorn style vending machine capsule. Cargo is added and the dome is snapped into place. \nLesson Plan and Activity\nLesson plan not yet available
