The scale model features full texturing, animateable parts such as ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, landing gear, and doors, and a visible cockpit. It comes with missiles, rockets, and is available in various formats. The Northrop F-5-G Tiger led to the development of the F-20-A Tigershark, which had improved performance due to a larger single engine. Initially funded by private investors to sell an advanced lightweight fighter to foreign allies without risking avionics exposure, the F-20 project ended in 1986 with limited success. Some units were purchased by the US Air Force and National Guard units.
