This building was built in 1926 to function as a warehouse and storehouse for the NorthernWhaling and Trading Co. Shortly after the main part of the building was completed, an annex was constructed on the western side of the building. Minor repairs were made to preserve the building in its original condition. Recently, the building's addition was disassembled down to its floor frames due to severe storm damage and erosion. The floor frames have been left intact to help stabilize the beach along the western side of the building. The building now serves as a storage facility for Park operations.
