Mirounga angustirostris, commonly known as the northern elephant seal, leads an intriguing existence. As a female specimen, this animal's age remains unspecified. On March 1970, it was collected from an unidentified location within North America, specifically in Mexico's Baja California Sur and Guadalupe Island. The collector responsible for obtaining this specimen is M. Stafford, who assigned the catalog number JS550 to it.
