The Northern Coyote, a member of the Canidae family, roams freely with its fur and skull preserved for research purposes. The specimen, identified as Canis latrans, is carefully tanned to maintain its natural texture and appearance. Located on the shores of Eva Lake, this rare find was discovered during the summer months of 1937 by a team of researchers from the University of Victoria Libraries, who took great care in scanning the object for future study.
