This model, based on real data, showcases a realistic road network and street setup of North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. Covering an area of approximately 135km x 135km (83.9mi x 83.9mi) or 18225 square kilometers (7039 square miles), it features major cities like Bonn, Cologne, Leverkusen, Dusseldorf, Duisburg, Essen, Wuppertal, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Dortmund, Mönchengladbach, and numerous smaller towns. The model includes roads, streets, squares, and plazas with UV mapping for overlapping UVs. It is positioned on a flat surface without elevation data, using polygonal quads and tris for its geometry. Untextured, the model renders quickly and is fully compatible with the North Rhine Westphalia Streets and Buildings 3D model available on CGTrader. Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 (CC-BY-SA), commercial use is permitted. The buildings and street data are sourced from OpenStreetMap, with attribution to the OpenStreetMap contributors. The model has 28,390,071 points/verts and 29,143,891 polygons, available in various formats including .c4d (native), .fbx (v7.1), .dae (v1.5), .dxf, and .obj.
