North Pole House Ornament
thingiverse
Welcome to the North Pole where Christmas trees spin with festive cheer, lights blaze, and holiday sweetness is launched right at you! This ornament is sure to get you in the Christmas mood. It's got a Christmas tree, lights, presents, and a sign to let you know exactly where you are (in the North Pole with Santa, of course!). But these decorations are certainly not all it has in store. With a motion sensor on the bottom, your movement will trigger all sorts of excitement! Lights will come to life filling the inside of the house with your favorite Christmas colors, and an RGB light up on the roof will shift between colors adding to the ambiance. Along with the lights, the motion sensor will activate the Christmas tree - it spins creating a "holographic" look. Perhaps the coolest part of this design is the Tic Tac launcher. Santa may bring presents down the chimney, but in this house, Tic Tacs are the way to go. After being loaded, the Tic Tac dispenser will launch out two or three Tic Tacs at a time (a sweet Christmas gift, if you ask me!). This whole system is powered by an Arduino and a 9 volt battery. It uses 2 tiny drone motors, an ultrasonic sensor, 7 LED lights and 1 RBG light. If you would like a full tutorial on how to assemble this please leave a comment.
