Area of outcrop situated within a private plantation on Fowberry Moor, Northumberland. One of two carved rocks positioned on the south side of prehistoric banking now covered by vegetation. Ref 'North Plantation A' on the Beckensall Archive (BA), it was added to ERA in 2008. The Beckensall Archive explains: The rock features a large cluster of 32 cups near the western edge and a large cup from which a groove extends along the edge. To the east is an occulus; two small cups with arcs and a figure-of-eight grooves surrounding them. Above is a single cup; to the left is a cup and ring with a curving groove leading away from it. Below this are eight cups, a cup and ring and a fainter serpentine groove.
