North Carolinians who showcased their innovative spirit at the 2015 Capitol Hill Maker Faire found themselves in the spotlight as digital avatars, courtesy of a pioneering scanning project spearheaded by the Digital Harbor Foundation. Using cutting-edge technology, attendees were carefully scanned with an Xbox Kinect and expertly processed through the Skanect software, resulting in highly detailed 3D representations that captured their unique essence.
