North American X15
pinshape
In 1967, the North American X-15, an experimental aircraft that flew test missions to gather crucial data for aircraft and spacecraft design, broke the record for the world's fastest manned powered aircraft by reaching Mach 6.7. Powered by a single rocket engine, it regularly soared above altitudes of over 50 miles, qualifying most of its pilots as astronauts. The North American X-15 played a significant role in advancing modern air and space technology. I have recreated an early version of the plane, which is why you'll notice oval windows and no wingtip pods. I also made some minor adjustments to the tail shape to make it printable without infill or supports. This allows for faster build times and reduced material costs. If your printer has a build volume of at least 190mm x 190mm x 190mm, you can easily construct a 1/35th scale model of this legendary aircraft. All necessary printer settings and build instructions are included in a comprehensive PDF file.
With this file you will be able to print North American X15 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on North American X15.
